Two written letters of recommendation are required:
ONE non-family academic reference (teacher, principal, coach, advisor, mentor, etc.) and ONE nonfamily
personal reference (family friend, pastor, Boy or Girl Scout troop leaders, etc.) who can provide
valuable information about you as a student, a leader/worker, and/or as a person. Please list your
recommenders’ names and contact information below. Recommenders should mail their letters of

Provide a concise resume that highlights your educational experiences, honors and awards, extracurricular
activities and responsibilities, community service, and/or employment.
Brief narrative (limit 500 words) on a local historic preservation or restoration project that
discusses the historical significance of the project and why you feel the site should be preserved
(local is defined as Banks, Hall, Habersham, Stephens, Franklin, Hart, Madison, Jackson, Barrow,
Walton, Oconee, Clarke, Oglethorpe, and Greene counties).
What specific actions could be taken to further the restoration of this historic site?
Informative, personal narrative (limit 500 words) including: (1) your prospective educational and
career goals, and (2) your interest in and possible contributions to the Athens Chapter of the
Watson-Brown Foundation Junior Board of Trustees.
